Safety Management Systems
Having gained experience in the management of systems (Quality, Occupational Safety and Environment) for various Companies and International Groups, we offer support for system certification in the field of safety, in accordance with the new standard ISO 45001:2018.
The ISO 45001:2018 standard replaces the OHSAS 18001 standard in SGS (Safety Management Systems).
ISO 45001:2018 replaces the previous OHSAS 18001 to bring Safety Management principles in line with other ISO standards currently in place for Management Systems (Quality, Environment, …).
The standard specifies the requirements for an occupational health and safety (OSH) management system and provides guidance for its use to enable organizations to provide safe and healthy workplaces, preventing work-related injuries and illnesses, and proactively improving their OSH-related performance.
It is applicable to any organization, regardless of size, type, and activity, that wishes to establish, implement, and maintain a management system to improve occupational health and safety, eliminate hazards and minimize OSH risks (including system deficiencies), seize OSH opportunities, and take charge of management system nonconformities associated with its activities.
The standard is based on the following principles:
- continuous improvement of safety performance;
- fulfillment of legal and other related requirements;
- achievement of occupational safety objectives.

Our Services:
- Pre-Requirements Verification for the safety management system
- Verification of regulatory compliance of work environments and equipment
- Verification of business processes in relation to Safety at Work
- Personnel management procedures

Why introduce it into the company?
The main purpose is to build the organizational and managerial conditions to legally protect both the individuals who work in the company (employers, managers and supervisors, workers) and the same legal figures (companies, institutions in general) from any liability for failure to comply with the rules on safety at work.
